Appearances in consciousness

So.

That was many weeks with looking into metta, karuna, muddhita, and upekkha. Loving kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity.
To find these qualities inside of you, remembering how you experience these states, is one way og practising mindfulness. You have an intention and you focus, you DO, you use your will.

Another way to practise is to “just” notice what is appearing in consciousness. Whatever catches your sensory system is an appearance in consciousness,

Whatever feeling might be present or whatever thought, it is an appearance in consciousness in the present moment.

When you practise like this you let go of everything, only your awareness is open to whatever appears.
