Wake up, grow up, clean up, show up
What does it mean to grow up?
One area of life is every day when you have your formal practise. Maybe it is 15 minutes, maybe it is one hour. This is your time of awareness, of meeting you in your own space and reality. Your time for clarity.
And then there is all the rest of the day. Some hours of course, you actually sleep, but still, there are many minutes and ours to train you awareness on what is really going on – maybe you catch this in glimpses during your day.
To grow up is to become clear in mind, to mirror reality rather than illusions, dreams and fantasies. Not that there is anything wrong with dreaming or having fantasies, it is just nice to be aware which is which.
Every day is a possibility for you to grow, to grow up and be honest to who you really are, a better friend, a better parent, a better you. Not making yourself better than you are, simply being a better you. Walk your talk.
